We are building a new Chrome extension for checking audio playing in any tab, with the verdict in a side panel. It is not in the Chrome Web Store yet. Until it ships, the web detector checks any clip you can download.

How it will work

Add it to Chrome.

Install it from the Chrome Web Store once it is published, and sign in with your AI Voice Detector account.

02 . Pick

Choose the audio.

Choose the audio playing in a tab that you want to check.

03 . Read

Read the verdict.

The verdict and AI probability score appear in a side panel next to the page, from the same model as the web detector.

When will the extension be available?
It is in development, and this page will link to the Chrome Web Store listing once it is published.
What can I use until then?
The web detector. Download the clip, upload it, and you get the same verdict and AI probability score the extension will show.
Will it use the same model?
Yes. The extension will send audio to the same detector as the website and the API.

Where the extension will help most

The extension is for audio you cannot easily download: a voice note in WhatsApp Web, a clip embedded in a video page, a podcast player. Instead of saving the file and switching tools, you will be able to check it from the tab you are already in.

Until it ships, download the clip and use the web detector. For a suspected scam call, pair the result with the steps in our vishing guide.
